In 1993, business leader Al Hubbard, political activist Roger Schmelzer, and community leader Joe Hale saw a need to train the next generation of leaders. It was with this goal in mind that the Indiana Leadership Forum was formed. In the 14 years since, over 310 new leaders across the state of Indiana have participated in the ILF and are using their talents to better their communities. Our graduates have gone on to serve as elected officials, work in the background of political campaigns, and accept governmental appointments. They are teachers, doctors, attorneys, and businesspeople: men and women with a desire to become more involved.
