I hope that your summer was filled with friends, family, love and lots of laughter. As you probably know, 2012 has been a monumental year for the Indiana Leadership Forum, and not just because we had a record crowd at this year's Annual Luncheon. It is bittersweet for me to share the news that Executive Director, Jen Carlton, will be leaving at the end of September.
Jen has led the ILF since the spring of 2010. During her tenure, the ILF has grown the active alumni base, recruited very strong classes and refocused fundraising efforts. She also led the three public forums, including the introduction of the Education Forum in 2011 and the very popular "Minute for Mentoring" in 2012, which helped establish the ILF's reputation as forward thinking.
Thanks to her dedicated service, Jen leaves behind an organization deeply rooted in our mission and community as well as a strong, professional board eager to help the ILF to continue to grow and develop. As you can see, we have some big shoes to fill!
The Board of Directors has convened an executive search committee to help recruit the next executive director. You can read more about the job description on the attached document or on our website. If you know of someone who would be a good fit for this position, please send them to our website or put them in touch with me. We will be taking applications until September 6, 2012.
We wish Jen well on this new phase of her journey.
