The Government & Legislative Issues class session is a unique experience. The class members spend an entire day at the Indiana State House. The session primarily focuses on the structure of state government and the current legislative agenda of the Indiana General Assembly. State House day provides an opportunity for class members to gain valuable insight from Indiana's elected officials, lobbyists, and policy makers.

The Indiana Leadership Forum's tuition is supplemented by generous contributions from individuals, community groups, and businesses in order to meets its escalating operating costs and subsidize the annual class trip to Washington, D.C.
